It was a fun trip, but I am so glad to be home. We had some fun times for sure. It just seems like I have been away from home for so long. It is nice sleeping in my own bed. I slept the day after we got home- the next day I went into work for just 6 hours- and today I just feel lazy. I have been watching movies and reading and enjoying the grandbaby. All good stuffs.
There really isn’t that much to write about. I have to get my self in gear tomorrow and clean the house and get quilting again. I just have four squares to go till I finish the top of my friends quilt.
It is already time for bed! Maybe tomorrow I will have more energy.

Well, I am off on another adventure. I am flying out west again- this time with my daughter and grandbaby. I am getting excited to go and look forward to seeing some friends that used to live here but have moved back that way. I will be spending time with them and also get the chance to see my son, who only moved out there a few weeks ago, but it seems like so much longer.
I don’t know what all I will be doing- just going with the flow and enjoying each day as it rolls around.
The only bad part of this little trip is that I will be away from Jim on his BD. Not that that hasn’t happened before. We were in the Navy for 20 years so lots of BDs missed. Just so he knows he is still getting older….Its good. LOL
I don’t think I will be blogging much while I am there. Not sure about access to computer stuffs. This is a test to see if I can go a week without checking my mail.

So yesterday I cleaned up Jon’s room that he was using while he was here. I moved the bed over and started to fill the space with my sewing stuff. I brought all my fabric and patterns- my machine- got it all set up and ready to quilt. Now I know why Jon liked it down there so much! It is a little hide-away for sure! Since I love to quilt and even just look at my quilting books I didn’t come up stairs again till bed time! I am gonna love not having to take my machine out and clean it all up every time I use it! I love that!
The only thing that would make the space perfect is to put up a large (and wide) table so I can lay the qults out and not have to get on the floor to sandwich them! That is on the way. I am going to have a yard sale I think and with the money I get go buy two folding tables and put the side to side.
Nothing like a plan…
Also… unlike Jon the basement dweller- I have found that doing laudry is much easier if I just hang out down there and switch loads as needed. And of course… look at my quilting stuffs while I wait!
Erin said she fears she will not see my anymore and will have to “dangle” the grandchild at the top of the stairs to lure me back to the real world…

Well- since my computer isn’t down there this is me…. going quilting… CYA
We had a pretty nice flight home. Lots of people on the first flight- not bad on the second. It just takes forever…. and we were so happy to land.
On the way out I asked Jim what color he thought the next rental car would be- I called red and he said white…it was red… I am so smart. I love red rental cars. I can always find them in the parking lot! LOL
It is good to be home. Making plans to start my quilt now that I have gathered all the fabrics I wanted to use- And it is so great to see the family and hold my grandbaby. Did I mention he is the cutiest grandbaby in all the world…. not just the land…. all the WORLD people! ( I Know Robin- you would say different- but that is ok- I understand where you are coming from!)
So- home news….laundry to do- rooms to clean. Erin actually keeps the main parts of the house really clean- but I am talking about my room- my computer area and the room I will be using for sewing. That should keep me busy this rainy day.
I miss Jon being around- happy trials to you…… Oh, I guess he wouldn’t know that song.
Well- off I go to start my day. Kiss the grandbaby- do laundry and such.
